WHAT IS MULA PRINTING?

Mula Printing is a silkscreen studio specialising in producing fine art prints to
the highest quality.

Mula Printing is an ongoing project that is always evolving and was formed
from the meeting of two people, their cultures, ideas and aspirations.

Our aim is to produce affordable art prints from the work of our friends. We
want to be able to support the artist by not taking any percentages from print
editions. We will only charge the artist for our skills and the materials used
in printing. However we do propose a consideration of 35% on originals sold
by Mula Printing. Any profit is used to keep the workshop running, to fund
our own projects in Colombia and London and to support community based
progressive political causes.

We want to encourage people to produce prints. If an artist cannot afford the
cost of printing but we like their image we will produce it. Taking our labour at
a later date or waiving our fee if it’s for a good cause. We would rather see art
made than remain just a good idea.

Mula Printing is not our day job, we are not looking to be the next big gallery
or company. We do this for the love of it, to support our friends who make art
and to encourage those initiatives we feel will benefit our communities.
